With six riders named for the return of “Speedway in the hills” at Buxton in 2026, the Bulls are weighing up their options for the 7th and final rider to complete their side.

With no real rush and 4.36 points remaining, they are looking at which rider fits the bill, with several in contention, including some possible returnee riders who have shown an interest in riding again.

Team boss Laurence Rogers is pleased with the six riders signed up in skipper Jack Smith, Alfie Bowtell, Arran Butcher, Jamie Etherington, Luke Harris and Jack Shimelt; “It looks a solid side, with two top-class heat leaders. They are all looking forward to being part of the return of the sport to Buxton. Whoever we decide upon as the final rider will start at reserve alongside Jack Shimelt. We have time to look at this carefully.”
