Three of the four Offical GTS Products MDL teams have secured sponsorship for their teams for the 2026 campaign, to be run at Buxton.
Giving track time and opportunities to young emerging riders aiming for higher things, the four sides will feature at all Buxton meetings in 2026, meeting “home and away” against each other throughout the season.

The four sides contesting the league are the POTTERS , the KINGS , the WOLVES and the INVADERS. The nicknames gives fans of defunct clubs a chance to support teams carrying their former team names.
The Potters are being sponsored by the Stoke Speedway Supporters club, through fan Phil Elkin.
The Kings are sponsored by The Crewe Speedway Collection through fan Rob Phinn.
The Wolves are sponsored by the Wolfpack Speedway Support Team.
At the moment, only the Invaders are not sponsored, but hopefully a company or individual from Long Eaton will step forward to support their side. Any interested parties can email : info@buxtonspeedway.co.uk for more information.
Former rider Gerald Smitherman and his partner Sherry Dack are providing the GTS race jackets the teams will be using, and are league sponsors.
Buxton promoter Laurence Rogers, a long-time advocate of supporting junior racing, is pleased by the response from sponsors; “The youngsters who will race in the 2nd halves in the MDL are all starting out on their way to hopefully higher things. They will be getting valuable track time, riding in a team in a structured league with high hopes of securing a National League spot initially, then on to bigger and better things. We are one of the few clubs to offer youngsters this opportunity, and this is important for the sport. Naturally, if only one progresses on to the world stage, this would make it all worthwhile, but finding riders to fight for team places is high on our agenda. Every Buxton meeting will have an MDL clash plus other races for the even younger element on 125’s and 250’s as part of our youth development programme. A big thank you to the sponsors supporting us. Our main team sponsor, DUCTAIR, is a long-time backer of junior racing, and now we have others assisting with rider development.”
