Having started their 2026 season last Sunday with the REGINA fours the Buxton DUCTAIR Bulls (in association with CRITCHLOW PLANT) the club are starting to plan the fixtures to fit in as many meetings as possible. This gives the riders more track time as well as giving the fans more speedway to watch.

The league clashes give five home and five away meetings whilst Leicester meet the Bulls in home and away challenges for the Derbyshire-Leicestershire Cup . They race the first leg at Leicester on Sunday with the return at Buxton on Sunday 26th April.

The next home clash at the most picturesque track in the UK up in the hills is on Sunday 19th when the Bulls meet up with a side labelled the NDL Nomads consisting of seven riders without a current team place looking to put themselves in the shop window.

There are reserved dates in the calendar that will stage a range of meetings including the Derbyshire Open Championship on Sunday June 7th after the British Grand Prix double dose of action at Belle Vue on the Friday and Saturday.

Other dates will feature possible three team events and challenges against defunct club names with the likes of Birmingham , Coventry, Ellesmere Port amongst others being considered.

Promoter Laurence Rogers comments, “ we want to give our riders as many meetings as we can and hope the fans will support these as much as possible. Being a standalone track gives us the opportunity to do this … and keep our riders happy.
