The final round of the 2026 ACU British Flat Track Championship takes place at Buxton Speedway this Sunday, 6 September, promising a packed day of fast, close and exciting flat track racing.
Britain’s leading flat track riders will compete for the final championship points of the season, with several titles still to be decided.
The Open Pro championship is particularly close, with Tim Neave leading Jack Bell by just two points heading into the finale.

Tim and Jack are also currently the top two riders in the FIM Flat Track World Championship, where just nine points separate them. This allows spectators at Buxton to watch two of the world’s best flat track racers compete head-to-head on British soil.
The meeting will feature racing for riders of all ages and experience levels across a wide range of classes:
* Open Pros
* Pro Amateur
* Pro Lites
* Women’s International
* Vintage
* Stock Mini Bikes
* Youth Junior
* Youth Intermediate
Younger riders will also take to the track in the Youth Junior and Youth Intermediate classes, showcasing the next generation of British flat track talent.
Flat track racing is fast-paced and easy for spectators to follow, with short, action-packed races and riders competing closely together around the oval circuit. It promises to be an entertaining and affordable day out for both established motorsport supporters and families experiencing the sport for the first time.
Championship organiser, Peter Boast, said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing the final round to Buxton. There are still championships to be decided, so every race and every point will matter. We have a fantastic variety of riders and machines competing, from our youngest racers through to some of Britain’s leading international riders. We would love local people to come along, experience flat track racing and help us give the competitors a brilliant atmosphere for the final meeting of the season.”
