BUXTON ‘Ductair’ Bulls return to action at Hi-Edge Raceway on Sunday afternoon when they entertain the Leicester Lions Cubs in the National Development League, 3 pm.
The Bulls have lost all three encounters against the Lion Cubs, but after a good away performance at King’s Lynn on Wednesday night, the Bulls will be looking to take the performance into Sunday’s meeting against their East Midlands rivals.

Buxton will be unchanged from the meeting against the Young Stars and will face a strong Lion Cubs line-up that is currently unbeaten in the league and is currently second in the table, three points adrift of league leaders Edinburgh.
The Cubs are led into action by the vastly experienced veteran Ben Morley, who is supported by Freddy Hodder and Max Perry, who form a solid top three, and they are well supported by Ryan Ingram, who has scored some high scores around Hi-Edge this year and Tom Spencer, who is also capable of scoring well; they form a solid back-up to the heat-leader trio. Eli Meadows and Seth Norman have been scoring solidly at reserve, and Lion Cubs team manager Jen Crossland will be looking to continue their impressive start to the season and take all three points available, with the Cubs having beaten the Bulls 61-29 last month.
Bulls team manager Laurence Rogers commented, “We are looking to get some league points on the board on Sunday against a very strong Leicester side, and we are under no illusion that it will be a tough meeting.
“We fought really hard against King’s Lynn on Wednesday night and showed that we are growing in confidence, and we will be looking to turn in a similar performance on Sunday afternoon.
“We may have to accept that the bonus point is probably out of our hands; our priority is to get some points on the board and get a win over the line, and I know all the lads want to make that happen this weekend.”
